Our Care Centre is headed up by Sister Lyn Shacks who is our experienced and compassionate Matron, ably assisted by other sisters and staff nurses plus our competent carers and cleaning staff.
Milldene Park Care Centre is situated in the attractive gardens of Milldene Park Retirement Village in Durban North. The facility is available to residents of Milldene Park as well as external residents.
Milldene Care Centre offers long term accommodation as well as short term stays whilst recovering from surgery or illness. Individual care plans are developed to cater for each person's age-related needs, such as recovery from illness or surgery, physical disability, dementia or terminal care. All residents are treated with kindness, respect and dignity. Families are encouraged to visit as often as possible.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture, pictures, curtains, TV and small fridge to make their room their own personal space.
