There are 90 cottages situated in beautiful well maintained gardens.
The units are self-catering and are available for occupancy on a “Life Rights” basis.
A “Life Rights Lease “ is the right to occupy a cottage for the life of both partners or individual depending on the type of accommodation, whilst it remains the property of the Association.
The full "purchase price" (loan obligation) is refunded on vacating the cottage.
Residents have full access to communal areas and gardens, the hall, patio and coffee shop plus all activities and shows.
Once life rights are purchased, the resident pays a monthly levy plus electricity.
Meals (including frozen meals) and a limited assortment of groceries are available for purchase from the kitchen.
The gardens are maintained by Milldene and the property is secured by 24 hour on site guards. We have back up armed response available by panic button. Residents also have a call button for medical emergencies linked to the care centre.
Please note that there is a waiting list for the cottages which is currently closed.

There are many different cottage types and designs. These include one and two bedroom units. Cottages have one or two bathrooms and some have an additional office/ recreation room.
Each cottage has a modern kitchen, dining and lounge area plus patio and garden. A large garage is attached to, or close to the cottage.
We also have flats and bedsitters with balcony or patio. Covered carports are subject to availability for these residents. Open parking is available for visitors.
